Hi! My name is Natalie and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Interested in the human
psyche from a young age, my curiosity deepened as I studied for my bachelor's in psychology at the
University of California in Riverside and after becoming a mother of two, returned to school to pursue my
master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University in Irvine. Outside of my work
as a therapist, I enjoy expressive arts like dance and creating charcoal pieces. I've discovered the most
profound parts of myself through the most painful yet healing experiences I've lived through - my passion
is to help others do the same.

My Approach

I believe therapy is less about fixing and more about remembering who you are beneath survival. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and experiential, with room for both depth and practicality. I work with clients navigating trauma, substance use, grief, and major life transitions, offering a space that is steady, compassionate, and real. Together, we explore patterns with curiosity, build skills for regulation and resilience, and make space for growth that feels meaningful and sustainable.

My Focus

As a therapist, I tend to focus on themes of grief, trauma, shadow work, and relationship to self and others, exploring life's challenges and our responses to them from a psychoanalytic approach.

My Communication
Style

I tend to communicate softly, warmly, grounded, and attuned.

My Journey

Much of my work as a therapist has been fueled and inspired by my own journey through recovering from childhood/adolescent trauma, family addictions, OCD, grief and loss, and recovery from substance use that has led me to living a sober, grounded life.
