Hello, and welcome. I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with two years of experience providing therapy to adults, couples, and families. My clinical work has primarily focused on substance use and addiction, as well as co-occurring mental health diagnoses. I’m passionate about human behavior and deeply value creating a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood. My goal is to support you in building a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself while navigating life’s challenges.
My Approach
My work is collaborative, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual, there is no one-size-fits-all model. I draw from several evidence-based approaches, including: Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, Solution-Focused Therapy, Grief and Loss Counseling, Strengths-Based and Attachment-informed perspectives. Narrative therapy is especially meaningful to me. I believe that the stories we tell ourselves, often shaped by pain, trauma, or past experiences, can become the very thing that keeps us stuck. Together, we explore those narratives, gently challenge them, and create space for new, empowering perspectives.
My Focus
I specialize in working with: Substance use and addiction, Co-occurring mental health concerns, Relationship and family dynamics, Trauma and emotional regulation, Grief and loss, Identity exploration and life transitions. Born and raised in Los Angeles, I have both personal and professional experience working with individuals from diverse cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community. I value cultural humility and strive to provide affirming, inclusive care for all clients.
My Communication
Style
Clients often experience me as warm, direct, and grounded. I believe in balancing compassion with gentle accountability. Therapy with me is not about judgment, it’s about curiosity, insight, and growth. I create a space where you can be honest, even about the things that feel uncomfortable or hard to say. I will meet you where you are, while also helping you move toward where you want to be.
My Journey
Growing up in Los Angeles and being exposed to diverse communities shaped my understanding of identity, resilience, and the complexity of human experience. With a mother who is also an MFT, conversations about human behavior and emotional health were part of my upbringing, further deepening my interest in this field. Over time, what began as curiosity became a calling. Supporting clients as they learn to understand themselves, care for themselves, and reconnect with their strengths is truly what I love doing. Watching someone reclaim their voice and rewrite their story is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
