Hi, I’m Alyssa, an Associate Clinical Social Worker with a genuine passion for supporting adolescents and adults through compassionate, person-centered care. I believe in meeting people where they are, listening without judgement, and working collaboratively to promote wellbeing, safety, and positive change. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, building insight, and working toward meaningful growth.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is compassionate, person-centred, and collaborative. I work with adolescents and adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional processing, enhance self-awareness, and build effective coping skills. Together, we focus on promoting wellbeing, safety, and meaningful change at a pace that feels supportive and empowering.

My Focus

I help adolescents and adults build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and foster emotional wellbeing, supporting them through stress, anxiety, life transitions, and personal growth

My Communication
Style

I offer a warm and safe presence in therapy, balancing warmth with directness when it’s needed. I value open, honest dialogue and work to create a secure space where you can explore challenges, gain perspective, and show up fully as yourself.

My Journey

My journey into clinical social work began with a passion for supporting others and understanding human experiences. Over time, I’ve gained experience working with adolescents and adults facing a range of challenges, which has shaped my compassionate, person-centred approach. Every step of my journey has strengthened my commitment to empower clients, foster resilience, and promote overall wellbeing.
