Hi there, I'm Audrey! I'm deeply passionate about helping teens and young adults navigate life’s ups and downs. With a background rooted in faith, I have a deep understanding of the diverse experiences that teens and young adults go through. I believe that no matter where you come from or what you believe, therapy should be a place where you feel supported, heard, and empowered to grow.
My Approach
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy to help you understand the patterns that shape your life.
I don’t believe in forcing change or rushing the process. Instead, I meet you where you are, help you make meaning of what you’re going through, and support you in building insight and coping tools at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to grow.
My Focus
I focus on helping clients move through anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, and identity changes. I also support individuals navigating faith questions, religious trauma, or spiritual exploration. Much of my work centers around helping people understand themselves more deeply. Together, we'll dive into why you feel what you feel, why certain patterns keep showing up, and how to move forward with more clarity and compassion.
My Communication
Style
My communication style is warm, thoughtful, and grounded. I listen closely and reflect what I’m hearing to help you feel understood and to make connections that may not have been clear before. I ask gentle questions, offer insights when they’re helpful, and move at a pace that feels safe. I aim to create a space where vulnerability, honesty, and even silence are welcome.
My Journey
My path to becoming an AMFT and APCC began with my sister’s mental health experiences. As she navigated depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation, she often turned to me when she felt overwhelmed. Supporting her showed me how powerful it can be to sit with someone in their pain, listen without judgment, and create a space where they feel safe enough to speak honestly. That experience stayed with me and ultimately shaped my decision to enter this field.
Today, I hope to offer that same steady, compassionate presence to my clients by meeting them where they are, honoring their courage to share, and walking alongside them as they heal in their own time and in their own way.
Therapy Types
& Methods
I take an integrative approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. With CBT, I help you identify and shift unhelpful thoughts and build practical coping skills for everyday life. Through Narrative Therapy, we explore the stories you’ve learned or told yourself and work together to create narratives that reflect your strengths and resilience. Psychodynamic work helps us understand how past experiences and relationships may still be shaping your present. I use these approaches flexibly based on what feels most supportive for you.
