With more than 10 years of clinical experience, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care for both children and adults. I believe that healing and growth happen through meaningful connection, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where individuals and families feel heard, valued, and empowered.

I earned my degree from California Baptist University and have had the privilege of working with clients, from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience. I am passionate about serving my community and view my role as a therapist as an opportunity to support others in building healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Outside of my professional work, I am a proud mother of two. I enjoy spending time with my family and have a love for sports ... whether I'm coaching, participating on the field or cheering from the sidelines. These experiences continue to shape my appreciation for teamwork, perseverance, and the importance of strong, supportive relationships

My Approach

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I believe that every person has inherent strengths, and my role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, develop insight, and build practical skills for lasting change. I work alongside children, adults, and families to foster resilience, strengthen relationships, and promote emotional well-being. Whether you're navigating life transitions, managing stress or anxiety, healing from past experiences, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to meeting you where you are and helping you move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My Focus

My focus is on helping children and adults navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, behavioral challenges, and difficulties with emotional regulation. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and achieve meaningful, lasting growth. My goal is to partner with each client in building the skills and insight needed to lead a more balanced and fulfilling life

My Communication
Style

My communication style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, respected, and comfortable expressing themselves openly. I believe in listening with empathy, asking thoughtful questions, and providing honest, supportive feedback that encourages growth without judgment. I adapt my communication to meet each client's individual needs, whether working with children, adults, or families, and I value building a strong therapeutic relationship based on
trust, authenticity, and mutual respect. My goal is to help clients feel understood, empowered, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

My Journey

My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by both personal experiences and a deep commitment to serving others. Growing up in a single-parent household in Buffalo, New York, I developed an early appreciation for resilience, perseverance, and the importance of having support during life's challenges.

I began my career in healthcare after graduating from nursing school, where I had the privilege of caring for individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments. Becoming a mother to my two children further strengthened my passion for helping others and inspired me to expand my ability to support emotional and mental well-being. This led me to return to school to earn my master's degree in
Psychology.

My therapeutic career began working in a group home, where I gained valuable experience supporting individuals with complex behavioral and emotional needs. From there, I transitioned into private practice, helping children, adults, and families navigate a wide range of life challenges. I later expanded my experience into trauma and crisis services with the county, providing support to individuals experiencing some of life's most difficult and unexpected circumstances.

These experiences have shaped me into a compassionate, empathetic therapist who values meeting people where they are. I believe everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and supported, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they work toward healing, growth, and lasting change.

Therapy Types
& Methods

I use an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy, recognizing that no single method works for
everyone. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution- Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), strengths-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. When working with children, I incorporate developmentally appropriate, play-based interventions to encourage expression, emotional growth, and healthy coping. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop practical skills to manage life's challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside each client to develop a treatment plan that reflects their strengths, values, and personal goals.

Focus Areas

My focus areas include supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, life transitions, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and coping skills development. I also support individuals experiencing crisis situations, grief, and the impact of difficult life experiences. I am passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, and build resilience. My work is grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, gain insight, and move toward meaningful growth and healing.
